Recycling fee reporting
The businesses that have concluded a producer responsibility transfer agreement must report the batteries and accumulators they have placed on the Finnish market to Recser Oy quarterly. Based on the reports Recser Oy charges the recycling fees for the batteries and accumulators at the valid recycling fee rates.
After joining, the producer must submit reports as from the entry into force of the producer responsibility on 26 September 2008, if the business has had operation subject to producer responsibility already in 2008. If the business has started its operation subject to producer responsibility later and notified the starting date to the producer organisation, reporting can be started from the reporting period of business start-up.
Reporting periods 2009
- 1 January - 31 March 2009, reporting by 30 April 2009
- 1 April - 30 June 2009, reporting by 31 July 2009
- 1 July - 30 September 2009, reporting by 31 October 2009
- 1 October - 30 December 2009, reporting by 15 January 2010
Reporting in the electronic system
Portable batteries and accumulators are reported in three-month reporting periods. If the business has not placed portable batteries and accumulators on the Finnish market during a certain reporting period, the business must fill out the battery and accumulator fields of the reporting form for the period in question with zero quantities.
Please note: Batteries and accumulators are reported for the first time in January 2009.
